Steering not near as good as a 2017 equinox that I had which required replacement as a tree fell on it and totaled vehicle. The Chevy Equinox debuted for the 2005 model year, looking to fill as a replacement for the legendary Blazer and Tracker SUVs. ![]() "Safety systems are not refined and are annoying. We review each generation of the compact SUV to determine which years to avoid (and which are better alternatives). (2020 Chevrolet Equinox L 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo) I would this would have to impact long term reliability." The TSB indicated the problem exists in 2017-2020 vehicles with the 1.5L Turbo. When I took it in the first time at around 600 miles they gave me a 2020 Equinox loaner that had the same vibration/noise at the same rpm just not as severe. I am making another appointment to see if they can resolve it. They showed me a technical service bulletin regarding the problem but it seems that they are only installing something to mask the problem instead of an engine repair to fix it. I had it back to the dealer and the problem is somewhat less but still very noticeable and annoying.
